[Sid goes to his
room……He totally ignores Anjali who is sitting at her desk and reading
something…..He opens the loft and pulls out his suitcase and shoulder
bag….another bag kept on top rolls over and falls on the floor with a
thud…..Anjali hears the sound and looks to this direction…..but Sid cooly
pushes the bag inside and takes whatever he needed……He starts selecting shirts,
jeans, leather jackets, trousers etc from his wardrobe…..he packs them neatly
in his suitcase….Anjali is kind of puzzled at this sight……but she doesn’t want
to show her curiosity out]
Anjali: [mind voice: Why is he packing now?? Is he going somewhere???]
Sid: [notices that she is looking but doesnt mind her……He just continues to pack][mind voice: I know you are curious….keep guessing my dear!!]
[Anjali gets up and comes near the bed…..She pretends to take some magazine from the side table and looks at him sideways….Her action brings a slight smile in his face but he acts as if he didn’t notice her coming….]
Anjali: [mind voice: isse kya hua??? kuch keh kyun nahi raha??]
Sid: [mind voice: woh Sid part 1 thaa darling…..ab tum part 2 dekhogi!!! ]
Anjali: [mind voice: jo bhi hai…mujhe usse kya lena dena??? Wherever he goes, I don’t care…..in fact I am happy that he won’t be around for sometime to disturb me…]
Sid: [mind voice: when I am away, you will realize how much I mean to you dear……][grins to himself]
[Sid’s phone rings….He picks it up….Its from Sam…..Anjali sharpens her ears to hear the conversation but her eyes are into the magazine]
Sid: haan Sam, bolo…..are you done with the packing??
Sam: yes yaar….sab kuch ready hai…..
Sid: What??? Shweta bhi aa rahi hai……that’s great news dude!!!!
Sam: Shweta woh achaanak beech mein kaise aayi?…..why are you talking about her now???
[Sid is mentioning Shweta’s name purposefully so that Anjali hears it]
Sid: samjha kar yaar…[passes a naughty smile]..Shweta hogi toh bohat mazaa aayega!!!! [laughs]
Sam: tum kya keh rahe ho??? Mujhe kuch samaj nahi aa raha…..
Sid: no no…[looking at Anjali] she won’t come…I mean why will she come with us??.....moreover, Shweta is there na?? perfect!!!
Sam: you ask questions and you answer yourself….I will go crazy if I talk to more….bye….see you tomorrow…[he cuts the call]
Sid: [goes on speaking] yeah yeah…..kal college mein milthe hai…..bye
[He cuts the call and continues packing…..He completely ignores Anjali….Anjali keeps waiting for him to say something to her but he doesn’t utter a word….He just leaves her alone as she always tells him to do….She is restless and anxious unusually……He notices it but keeps quiet…..]

Night.....about 11 PM......She is turned to one side of the bed and he is sleeping on the other side and facing the opposite direction
Anjali’s POV:
Phir bhi, ek baar keh sakthe ho….biwi hoom tumaari....
but I too don’t care….i don’t want to know…..anyways, I know that you are going to tour with your friends…….but Shweta, usse bhi saath le jaa rahe ho….She is soo shameless!!!!….itne ladkon ke saath aane keliye maan gayi…..Idiot…….hmmmmm mera shak sahi tha….tum aur shweta!!! But why the hell did you marry me….usse hi shaadi karthe….stupid!!!
Sid’s POV:
Tum poochthi toh zaroor bathaa dheta….but you never bothered...ego aur attitude dikhaathi ho…..anyways, you always want me to keep away from you,na?? then why should I disturb you and tell you this???
tumne mujhe aur meri ego ko hurt kiya hai…..phir bhi main chup rahaa…. par ab nahi…….uss stupid si Rohit se meri shikaayat kar rahe ho!!!…..you know what, tum jaise ladki ko seedha karna mujhe acche se aatha hai…

[The beautiful trance comes to an abrupt end when both are shaken up by a loud noice…..Anjali quickly switches on the light and checks what it is….. The loft wasn’t closed properly…So a big box slides and falls down…..She glares at Sid for his irresponsible behavior…..then she covers herself up with a blanket till the head and tries to sleep murmering something]
Anjali: [murmering from under the blanket] Idiot!!! Koyi kaam teek se nahi karthaa!!!!
[Sid gets up and puts back the box carefully and closes the door properly…….He curses the box and himself for the wrong timing……
His sleep is lost….so he just goes out into the balcony and closes the balcony door from outside…..Anjali peeps out of the blanket and sees him going out….She covers back and goes to sleep]
Sid: [in the balcony][mind voice: trailer ke liye itni kaafi hai!!!! slowly, I will make you fall for me Anjali!!] [grins to himself]

call……Sam’s phone rang……..
Sam: yeah sheetal, whats up??? Kaise yaad kiya?
Sheetal: [sounding a little tense] Sam, can I meet you now??
Sam: [looking at his watch…..it was going to be 7 PM] NOW?? I mean I have no problem…..kahaan milna hai???
Sheetal: fruitshop near my house…..
Sam: okie….i will be there at around 7:15……bye
[At the fruitshop…….Sheetal is there at 7 and waiting for Sam to arrive]
Sam rushes in at about 7:20…..
Sam: sorry Sheetal…..thoda late hogayi…..
Sheetal: its ok Sam….
Sam: what happened??? Why did you call me so urgently??
Sheetal: baat hi kuch aisi hai ke tumme iss waqt bulaana padaa….sorry
Sam: oh that’s perfectly alright….bataao kya baat hai??
Sheetal: [hesitantly]it’s about Jeeth…..
Sam: [suspiciously looks at her] What about him??
Sheetal: he has sent me a mail Sam….
Sam: [shocked] WHAT?? BUT WHY??? [trying to hide his shock] I mean what does he want now???
Sheetal: he wants to meet me….. he is really sorry for what happened last time and wants one last chance to meet me and correct his mistakes…..he will be there at the MG park tomorrow at 4 in the evening….
Sam: [doubtfully] aur tum kya sochte ho??? Jaana chahthi ho????ek aur chance dhena chahthi ho??
Sheetal: kuch decide nahi kar sakhi……[Sam breaks in]
Sam: [furious and frustrated] tum saare ladkiyan ek jaise ho…..usne tumme cheat kiya aur tum ho ki usse ek aur chance dhene ke baare mein soch rahe ho…..how foolish can you get sheetal!!
Sheetal: I said I haven’t decided yet Sam…..
Sam: what does that mean by the way??? It only means that you want to give him another chance….and you are still thinking about him…..and you still…..[pauses and hesitantly] love him
Sheetal: pehla pyar itne jaldi koyi bhool nahi sakthe Sam….aur Jeeth mera pehla pyar hai….
Sam: “Pehla pyar” my foot…..[he angrily gets up from his chair]
Sheetal: plzz don’t get angry Sam…..tum meri friend ho….isiliye tumse poochne aayi…..
Sam: mujhse kyun pooch rahe ho???? its your life and you got to decide what you want….I am leaving… bye…yeah and one more thing, I am leaving for the college tour tomorrow evening…….i will be back only after 3 weeks or so…..take care

[Sam leaves not waiting to hear Sheetal’s call….]

[Next day……Sid’s place……Anjali is expecting Sid to tell her about where he is going…..she expects him to tell a bye….but he totally ignores her….His behavior and attitude is very new to Anjali….She is worried but she doesn’t express it out…..both Anjali and Sid are egoistic and they don’t show their true emotions to each other……Sid is adamant that Anjali has to come to him now…..
She keeps finding reasons to come before Sid just to make him tell her about the tour…..though he understands that, he keeps evading her…..
Anjali is in her room when Sid leaves…..Sid bids bye to all at home except Anjali…..]
Sid: [he is continuously looking at his room’s door when he is bidding bye to all] bye mom….aap apna khayaal rakhna….strain math lenaa….
Mom: sure beta….tum apna kayaal bhi teek se rakhna……..teek time par kuch khaa lena…..bhooka math sonaa…
Dad: ab bas ki karo…..he is grown up…uski shaadi bhi hogayi hai……
Mom: toh kya hua??? mere liye woh ab bhi chota hi hai…..aur hamesha aisa hi rahega….samjhe??
Dad: samajh
Sid: bye Smriti…..acche se padna….har waqt tv ke saamne math betna…..main chaltha hoom…[smiles]
Smriti: jaao jaao…..warna bus choot jaayega…..[grins]waise tum kisko dhoond rahe ho??
Sid: kisi ko bhi nahi…..bye
Smriti: bye bye keh ke kitne dher se yahi ho….jaao….
[She pushes him into the car……unwillingly, he leaves…..]

OMG Jeet is back... Hope Sheetal will nt fail for his tactics now and it seems she is nt goin to. Sam shud have listened to her atleast once. She might had something more to say...
Sid has already left. I thought Anjali wud go too... Anyhow, hope this distance now help in some much needed realization.
