Two days passed by…..whiling away each moment was difficult because none of my friends are with me…….Aashu is out of town since her grandma is not well…..Sheetal’s presence didn’t help much….
She is in her own dream land…..and Deepak avoids me nowadays…..I wonder what happened to Kripa….she too remains aloof…..as if she has closed herself within a shell…..she has become the same Kripa whom we met months back…chup chup aur koyi koyi!!!!…..maybe she was hurt by our joke too….or maybe she didn’t like being linked to Deepak….
That day, our conversation was left incomplete…… Kaash Kripa uss waqt nahi aati……She landed up at the wrong time….else he would have poured his mind out and that would have made him feel better….
I know that my friend is worried and I am not able to help him out…..I don’t even know what the worry is….
What if he loves someone?? BIG DEAL!!!….he hasn’t committed any crime….then why is he worried so much??Why is he hiding the girl’s name??…Our gang was never like this….we never had secrets…..
Love ruins friendship…..I am not exaggerating…I really mean it...else will Deepak forget all his friends for a girl who crossed his mind just recently? Love or whatever it is has made him do so…..Love…my foot!!!

I am sitting in the college library…..Eyes are fixed to a page of a Computer fundamentals book but my mind is pondering over all these thoughts…….Sheetal is next to me….her situation is no better except that she is dreaming about Shahid and Ranbeer….For starters, all bachelors in bollywood are her dream guys……
I am feeling so lonely and badly need Aashu near me…..Aashu, I miss you babes!!!
Sid’s POV:
She won it again…..Each time I do something, she gets away somehow….All my plans to get a edge over her are failing…. Sam and Tushar are right...Her friends are her strength….physical and mental strength….. Whatever it is, Sid will not give up!!!Buck up man, you can do it….
Sam comes running…..
Sam: Sid, I have news for you…..
Sid: [irritated due to his interruption and shows disinterest] get lost……
Sam: Sid, listen to me….it is about Anjali….
Sid: [suddenly turns to Sam] What??? What about her?
Sam: She is in the library….
Sid: [angry] what is so new about that???
Sam: She is alone…her friends are missing…..
Sid: Is it? That’s strange….
Sid and Sam reached the library and peeped inside….Sam was right….She was sitting in one corner of the reading table…..she was fully into the book and hardly noticed them…..
Sam: see, I told you na….ab bol, kya plan hai??
Sid: wait a minute….let me think…..
[After a few seconds, he dragged Sam and went out….He told something into Sam’s ears…..They came back after sometime…..By that time, the library was almost empty…..Sheetal had left too….Sam and Sid signaled the few students who were fixed to the seats to leave quietly…..Some left without much fuss...Others left when Sid’s voice changed to a warning tone. That left just Anjali in the entire library…..in the entire floor]
Sid: Sam, go to the office assistant…..ask him to lock the library now…..agar woh kuch kahe, yeh paanch soh deh dho.....
Sam: What???Are you planning to lock her inside the room?
Sid: [Angry] DO I have to make it clearer??
Sam: But Sid…… [Sid interrupts]
Sid: Do as I say……you leave after you ask him to lock it……and…..don’t come here…..wait for me at the canteen…I will come there….
Sam: [half mindedly] Okie….
Sid: Hold on…one more thing…..keep this to yourself…..I don’t want anyone else to know it…..not even Tushar
Sam: hmmmm…..
[Sam leaves to find the office assistant]
Sid: [posing a villainous smile] let me see who saves you from this!!!
Anjali’s POV contd:
Sheetal is leaving…the library is half empty…..maybe I should leave too…….
But no!!!….I would feel more lonely at home….papa and mamma have gone for a wedding…They will be back only at midnight or may be tomorrow morning…….I have nothing else but speak to the walls at home…Or I would be browsing through the TV channels and wasting my time…..
I looked at my watch…..It is just 6 and the library is open till 8 anyway…… I set an alarm for 7…….
Then I glanced at the book once and then just tried to get drowned in it…….Time was flying but I was lost inside the book….
”BANG” that sound fished me out of the book……I looked at my watch...It is just 7….then why is the door being closed...Oh no…..DOOR!!!!! I got up from my seat with a startle but I couldn’t move as the lights went off….I was perplexed and couldn’t decide what to do when I heard those footsteps……
They were nearing me…..It was pitch dark and I couldn’t see a thing…..

Sam: [mind voice: isse hamara plan pataa nahi chalna chayiye…..agarmaine isse bataaya, Sid mujhe maar hi daalega…I should
just leave with him….] Sid ghar chala gaya
Tushar: [surprised] Sid aur ghar, itni jaldi!!! Usse kya hua hai?? Chalo accha hi hai….
Sam: haan haan…..ab chalo….
[Sam drags away Tushar and they go home……So that’s how Sid is left all alone with Anjali inside the library]
Present: Inside the library……
Anjali: SID, What is happening? Who shut the door? [She starts to run towards the door….]
Sid: [holds her hand tightly] rukho……kahan jaa rahe ho??
Anjali: [tries to pull away and frees herself from him….runs to the door and bangs on it] Koyi hai…..darwaaza kolo……... [Bangs and repeats the same again] plzz…open the door…..
Sid: [walks slowly to her] you are wasting your energy my dear…..koyi nahi aane waala..…sab log jaa chukhe….ab toh peon bhi ghar chalagaya
[Anjali doesn’t stop to listen to him and continues to call for help….]
Sid: Nobody is going to save you from here…..aaj ki raat tumhe yahi mere saat bitaana hoga….aur koyi raasta nahi hai…..
Anjali: [nearly in tears] so all this was your plan, is it?
Sid: [mischievous smile on his face] kohi shak!! Sab mera hi plan hai….waise, mera entry plan main nahi tha….par hogaya

Before I realized what happened, I was trapped inside the room and the darkness
of the room was slowly engulfing me……The sound of the footsteps became louder
and louder…….Fear was gripping my mind but I remained calm and didn’t show my
fear out……
I gathered all my courage and asked “Who is that?”. There was
a slight shiver in my voice….
There was no reply……I started to walk towards the door….suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder……”Hold on darling, what is the hurry??” said a voice…..I stopped there confused about who that was…..the voice was familiar….I had heard it before… but I couldn’t figure out who it was….I was angry at the liberty he took….I pushed his hand away and asked again “Who are you?”
He pressed his cell phone and held it towards my face….In that dim light, his face became clearer…….SID…..How come he is here??..
There was no reply……I started to walk towards the door….suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder……”Hold on darling, what is the hurry??” said a voice…..I stopped there confused about who that was…..the voice was familiar….I had heard it before… but I couldn’t figure out who it was….I was angry at the liberty he took….I pushed his hand away and asked again “Who are you?”

I was dam angry and shouted
at him “SID, What is happening? Who shut the door?”

Mujhse bohat badi galthi ho gayi…..I should have gone by myself...….
shit, I shouldn’t have left it to Sam….That fool always messes up things….I just asked him to do a simple thing and see what happened…. At this pace, she will escape from this plan too…Where the hell is he???Let me call and check!!
[He searches for the cell phone in his pockets…..]
Oops where is my phone??? Where did I leave it?? I remember making it in silent mode while entering the library….Did I drop it somewhere inside??
[Thinks for a few seconds] Ok….no other go, I need to go inside and find it…..
[Sid goes inside to find his phone….He is searching through the various rows when the office assistant closes the door….]

It is 7:15, the peon bhaiya has locked the library…..but where is Sid? He said he will come back once the door is locked….. call karke dekhta hoom…..
[He calls him but Sid doesn’t pick up the phone….so he decides to go back to the library but he is in a dilema….]
Sid asked me not to come……now what do I do?
